RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATIONS
Figures published by Port State Control (MoU) regimes for Recognized Organizations — the bodies that survey ships and issue their certificates — over three years of inspections and detentions. A third axis: neither the company nor the flag, but the class society.
① A listing is a claim, not our verdict. The table below mirrors what each institution published under its own criteria — it is not a LIVERSE finding that a company is fraudulent or suspect. Criteria differ by institution and are not absolute.
② Absence from a list does not imply suspicion. As FERM states of its own whitelist, it is not a complete list, nor does exclusion mean a company should be considered suspicious.

We do not publish the performance grades. In both regimes the grade label sits in a cell merged across many rows, so the document itself does not tell us which organization falls in which band. We could recompute it from the excess factor, but then it would be our judgement rather than the regime’s publication. Instead we mirror the limits the regime publishes alongside (Low/med · Med/high) — compare them with the detention count yourself.
★ A lower excess factor is better — a negative value means fewer detentions than expected. Only organizations with 60 or more inspections over three years appear in these tables (as the regimes state).
