One of NIORDC's 10 national refineries, in Isfahan province, with a designed maximum capacity of about 370,000 b/d (recent reporting cites actual throughput closer to 200,000 b/d). A planned 2018 upgrade contract with South Korea's Daelim Industrial was cancelled amid sanctions, after which Iran pursued the upgrade using domestic engineering capacity instead. Gas infrastructure near Isfahan province was reported targeted during the February-April 2026 US-Israeli strikes on Iran; damage specific to the refinery itself is not independently confirmed as of this entry.
