OVERVIEW
Iran's first refinery designed to run on gas condensate feedstock (from the South Pars/North Dome field), located outside Bandar Abbas and built in three 120,000 b/d phases for a combined roughly 360,000 b/d, with expansion underway toward 480,000 b/d. Each phase was designed to yield about 12 million litres/day of Euro-IV gasoline plus diesel, kerosene and LPG. Together with Abadan, Bandar Abbas, Shazand and Lavan, it is one of five refineries accounting for about 65% of Iran's total refining capacity.
