OVERVIEW
An integrated refining-petrochemical complex in Rabigh on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, majority-owned by Saudi Aramco (60%, after acquiring an additional stake from Sumitomo Chemical Co., which retains 15%). Crude capacity is 400,000 b/d, integrated with petrochemical units producing up to 2.8 million t/y of polyethylene, mono ethylene glycol, polypropylene and other derivatives. No conflict-related disruption has been reported as of August 2026.
