OVERVIEW
One of China's oldest refineries, tracing its roots to 1928 in Fushun, Liaoning -- long regarded as a cradle of the country's petroleum industry and, as of the mid-2000s, the world's largest paraffin producer. Crude distillation capacity is reported at roughly 223,000 b/d, and the site was further expanded from 2008 with new ethylene, polypropylene and high-density polyethylene units.
