Sinopec's long-running refining base in Anqing, Anhui -- the largest central state-owned petrochemical enterprise in the province, onstream since 1982. Crude distillation capacity is reported at roughly 180,000 b/d; a group-wide "refining to chemicals" upgrade plan is expected to redirect roughly a third of its refined-product output toward chemical feedstocks.
