A Sinopec-SK Innovation (South Korea) joint venture refining-petrochemical complex in Wuhan, Hubei, in operation since 1977 (as a Sinopec facility before the SK partnership). Crude distillation capacity is reported at roughly 170,000 b/d, with an 8.5 million t/y overall processing scale and downstream coking, catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, reforming and hydrotreating units.
