OVERVIEW
Petrobras refinery on a 580-hectare site in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, on stream since September 1968. Installed capacity is 201,280 b/d (32,000 m3/d). Operated as a joint venture (Alberto Pasqualini -- Refap SA) with Repsol YPF until Repsol sold its stake in December 2010; fully reincorporated into Petrobras in August 2012. Main products: diesel, gasoline, LPG, fuel oil, jet fuel, solvents, asphalt, coke, sulfur, propene.
