OVERVIEW
Integrated crude-to-chemicals complex on Zhoushan Island, Zhejiang -- majority-owned (51%) by private refiner Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group, with Saudi Aramco holding an equity stake and a long-term crude supply contract. Phase 1 (400,000 b/d) started up in December 2019; Phase 2, completed in 2021, doubled total processing capacity to roughly 40 million tonnes/year (approx. 800,000 b/d), making it one of the largest single-site refining-chemical complexes in China.
